pshal the water looked too inviting for me to wait! crystal clear as far as the eye can see. the overwater bungalows are perfect for privacy and each one has its own entrance into the clear blue water that surrounds it. the best way to view the lagoon, from what i was told, is to strap yourself in for some parasailing. but you can also explore the island itself on a 4x4 safari or by jet boarding. #borabora #splishsplash #firstonein

pshal having lived in an apartment without a tub for the past few months, i have got to tell you how excited i was to see this monster. it was big enough for two and with the windows open, we could sit in the warmth of a bath while watching the marine life or enjoying a sunset. which happened quite a few times and i very much recommend it. these accomodations would be perfect for a destination wedding and honeymoon! #borabora #fourseasonsresort

pshal these little lizards were everywhere and they were so much fun to watch. jaisen was constantly getting distracted by them. but i think this little guy who was nabbing a drink off our water glass one morning was our favorite lizard visitor. #borabora #onethirstygecko

pshal one of the best things to do in bora bora is just watching your surroundings. they offer private sunset cruises as well as romantic dinners for two on the beach. but if you'd rather enjoy it on your own, i can't say that i blame you. just wandering down the shoreline with the warm water on your toes while the sun went down? best way to end the day. #borabora #beautifulsunsets #walkingthetideline

pshal this is probably one of the most breathtaking places that i have ever been to. it offers all kinds of undersea adventures including scubadiving, guided tours, and private dining/diving boat trips. being pregnant, however, i wasn't exactly allowed to partake in the scubadiving. however! i was allowed to do some snorkeling in the lagoon sanctuary that is home to over 100 species of marine life. getting to swim with the sharks, rays, and other parts of the underwater ecosystem was an amazing opportunity. i fully recommend it for anyone not quite comfortable out in open water and even for those who just want to learn a little about the marine life here. #borabora #lagoonatorium #snorkelingissofun

pshal room service for breakfast. while there were plenty of options of places to eat on the island, sometimes it was nice to just have the food brought to you so that you could relax on the deck in privacy. and with 48 hours notice, you can have it delivered to you by a traditional polynesian canoe. by the way? the homemade tahitian coconut bread is to die for. #borabora #fourseasonsresort #breakfastcanoe

pshal it's hard to believe that the week is already over. this place and this experience has been so special. only part of which has to do with my company for the week. i have always wanted to stay at a resort like this and i wasn't at all disappointed. i hope to someday come back as i feel like there's much more of the island to explore. maybe next time we will try moorea so we can swim with the dolphins! #borabora #onelastrompinthewater #dowereallyhavetoleave
